On Friday, May 10, the DJI Agras T40 and T20P received a new firmware update that will increase their efficiency.
This update introduces a range of new enhancements and safety features, such as the stream mode and idle propeller stop. These additions are aimed at improving the performance and safety of your drone operations.
Stream mode deactivates the motors of the centrifugal sprinklers, allowing chemicals to dump in a columnar stream. This is perfect for scenarios that do not require atomization or need to distribute liquid onto water surfaces.
Idle propeller stop automatically stops the drone's props when the aircraft is grounded and the motors are idling for more than 10 seconds. In addition, pilots now can take over manual control during automatic landing operations by moving the control stick in any direction.
In addition to these new features, the following have also been addressed by this latest release:
• Improved tracking accuracy for smoother flight over tall crops Select "Hill" under Task Terrain to enable.
• More accurate material spreading
• Fixed an issue with abnormal starting point height on orchard flight routes.
